Ubisoft revealed new Watch Dogs PS4 gameplay at Sony’s E3 press conference. A new live ten minute demo showed Aiden Pearce teaming up with a pal named T-Bone to hack into a mainframe.

The Watch Dog developers have been talking up PS4 features and have mentioned players being able to play cross platform. They also talk about multiplayer being integrated into single player so you’ll be, “surprised when you meet other players”.

This new Watch Dogs trailer is really a rehash of old footage with a new voice over. It does however hint at the PS4 game’s multiplayer, mentioning “a new intrusion from an unknown party”. It’s something we’ve seen before with what look like other gamer’s names appearing over cameras. It suggests a different style of online, potentially with players able to spy and hack on each other’s single player games.

Naughty Ubisoft, letting us all think futuristic open world title Watch Dogs was somehow possible on PS3. Well, now it’s been confirmed for PS4 and Ubi’s shown off a great hunk of gameplay footage, with Aiden Pearce using his all-emcompassing hacking powers to drain ATMs, raise bollards on speeding cop cars, slow trains and vault over all and sundry in the near-future streets.
