What do you think SEGA will do with these new Sonic games for Wii U and 3DS? Do you expect them to be any good and what would you like to see? - Herbert_Rarr

Rob: It's too early to judge, I think. Recent Sonic games have been a real mixed bag, though there are signs Sega is gaining a better understanding of what makes Sonic work in the modern age (the transition to 3D really damaged the quality of the series, overall).
There are great dual-screen opportunities with both devices that I think Sega can take advantage of. For some reason I'm thinking a Sonic Spinball style would work excellently, mixing together platforming and pinball between screens.
Tamoor: I believe that Sega is still capable of putting out good Sonic games, Rush and, more recently, Colours are proof of this I really hope that, given that it's the start of a new generation, Sega gets it into gear and treats Sonic right. After seeing the first screenshot of the hexagonal sphere floating in the sky I can't get Mario Galaxy out of my head, I wouldn't mind if they borrowed some ideas from that game.
And Chris, tone it down will you mate.

Would you want to see a rebooted Blinx or Kameo on the next gen Xbox?

Tamoor: Chris! Those were both great games. Kameo had some great ideas, it was the first Xbox 360 game I played and I really enjoyed it. Had that Rare charm that we're all clamoring for these days. I'd love a Kameo 2.

Is it true that the cheering during the presentation was from Microsoft employees standing at the back. And that some were dressed like Hulk Hogan and were waving those giant foam hands around? - Barry316
Andy: Any E3 veteran will tell you that 'whooping' is a common trait of Microsoft's press conferences compared to the comparatively restrained atmospheres to its Japanese rivals. Since the Xbox reveal was held in a tent slap bang in the middle of Microsoft's campus, I imagine that a fair few of the hollas did indeed come from its employees - but I noticed investors and foreign press in attendance contributing to the noise too.
Tamoor: Makes a whole lot of sense that Microsoft's employees would be there and cheering. Can't really blame them, some of them have probably been working on the Xbox One for years, I'd be ecstatic.

It's obviously early days and E3 is still to come but I'm very interested to see what you guys think about what's been presented so far. - phate666
Andy: After the painful drought of the past year and a half it's brilliant just to have some interesting, non-sequel games on the horizon. In terms of the new consoles we've certainly only seen half of the story - there are plenty of new exclusives lined up for reveal in LA. Stay tuned.
Tamoor: I like what I've seen of both consoles so far. Admittedly, I understand what PS4 much better than I understand the Xbox One, but I'm sure much of that confusion will be dispelled at E3. I'm really excited for the event, I'm anticipating A LOT of games will be shown too.

Hi guys, what game effected you emotionally, disturbed or traumatised you? I'd say FFVII for me. - ob1kev
Tamoor: There were points in Amnesia that I struggled to maintain composure with. I loved that game, but I had to really psyche myself up to play it. I guess that counts as traumatising in a small way.
Oh and Silent Hill for PlayStation. That was very scary.

Nintendo have said that the next Smash Bros. will be in video form at their E3 showings. What do you want to see in it? Any must-have characters/courses/tunes/gameplay changes? (Personally I'm hoping that Sonic is brutally disembowelled in the opening credits, setting up the motivation for the one-player mode and rendering him unplayable.) - Balladeer
Tamoor: I know this is blasphemy and not what Smash is about, but I'd to see some more depth and skill required in execution. I understand that approachability is important for Smash, but I'd really like to engage with what on a moment to moment basis more.

Andy: Let's not jump to conclusions. It's true Microsoft focused on TV and entertainment this week, but the second half of its Xbox One reveal happens in 2 weeks time - and we're promised plenty of games. At the moment PS4 looks more appealing for the core, but that could change immediately with the announcement of a few key exclusives.
