Google may not have revealed a new version of Android at I/O this year, but that's not stopping the company from adding new features to the platform: it's just announced a new version of Google Calendar. According to Google's blog post, the new version features a number of aesthetic updates, including a redesigned interface for picking the date and time of an appointment, and the ability to use custom colors — letting users cause certain appointments to stand out. The interface for picking time zones has been refreshed, and Google has also tweaked how users schedule repeating events.
