The intent of this glossary is to introduce users to commonly used terms relevant to wiki technology and terms that are specific to the Association's wiki implementation.

Content
Content is a general term used to reference any mentioned or unmentioned content types.
Article
An article is a loosely defined term that references either a project or a document.
Document
A document is neither a project nor a workspace, but the content is either subject to radical change or extremely polished.
Examples: IGDA Singapore Game Companies, Game Writers SIG Quarterly.
Page
Synonymous with article.
Project
A project is a descriptive index of content such as documents, links, and workspaces. The primary pages of a Chapter or SIG are considered projects. Examples: IGDA London, Production SIG.
Workspace
A workspace is where civil, organized, and professional communication should occur. Contributors to a workspace are required to sign and timestamp their edits using four tilde (~) characters.
Examples: Talk:IGDA New York City, Talk:Game Writers SIG.
Wiki
A wiki is a virtual collaboration application that enables users to collectively add, edit, and delete content.
