Most of the maritime history on this site is included as histories of individual ships, which can be accessed from the various indices on the Maritime History Contents page. This section of the site includes a variety of other miscellaneous information about maritime activites in Barrow, Furness and the Duddon. I will also at some future stage include some indices for shipbuilders, shipowners etc., to allow for easier access to information on these subjects. At the moment, you will have to use the Search Engine (on the main page).
