How come almost all the games they play on these shows are on the xbox?? C'mon guys, mix it up a bit

I like this game. Some problems with combat, such as you just can swing your machete or fire freely, you have to wait for the button prompt.

Originally this game was to start right after the "event" happened and you slowly watch society crumble and adapt. Maybe they will come up with a prequel that shows the protagonist right after the event and cross the country.

I would like to see a prequel or a sequel or both.

I don't know why but whenever I watch Americans on a play-through I always get irked and have to turn it off.  I cant understand it as i have nothing against Americans or their accents it's only on play-through's...maybe it's because they always seem so serious when gaming is meant to be fun.  Another thing to add to my list of neurosis.

However the game is quite good and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it. There are a couple of good original ideas in there.

Watching that demo was pretty frustrating.

I've just finished this game and it was very good. First of all, I think it's a great concept - a survival game in a more "realistic" setting (I mean, no zombies for a change) - and it's done with great atmosphere. Yes, it's really something like "The Road" meets "Silent Hill" (without the undead creatures and paranormal mysteries, of course) but the gameplay is far more interesting then Silent Hill's (I love Silent Hill, by the way). Inventive platform/climbing (stamina limit adds tension); clever combat system (very limited ammo, so you need to think the best strategy to approach each group of enemies - and you have to think quick!); helping survivors is rewarding; and the game has a quiet interesting design. The downsides... It's a little rough in the edges (acceptable for a low budget downloadable game), and yes, the last levels look unfinished. It has its bugs also, but nothing too distracting. I'd give it 8.0/8.5. The ending left space for a sequence... Don't think it's coming, but it would be welcome. 

played this on the PS3. it was alright. got very repetitive towards the end and you can really tell this was released unfinished about 2/3 of the way in. wish i got an actual ending too...the way it finished really annoyed me.

Please play Zack and Wiki. It was critically acclaimed but didn't sell well. It fits this show. I just love this game.

... tried to play the PC version. (1) Gamepad controls don't work properly to this day. (2) Checkpoints force you to replay chunks of same gameplay over and over again due to see (1). Gave up on it, despite the McCormack "The Road" vibe.

Great game, the atmosphere is excellent combined with the limited tries and ammo makes everything suspenseful, the combat plays like a puzzle (who to strike first, in what order and with which weapon all must be planned and executed in a very short time) never a dull moment, also interesting story and the reactions from people are realistic and believable, reminds me of Silent Hill too (as mentioned in the video), one of the best games of the last year, I hope that UBISOFT makes a sequel.

Loved this game, only downside I could find was it was unfinished (I.E. few bugs) and was short.

I loved Black and White 1. Black and White II was terrible.

I can't be the only one who really liked this game. I never got to beat it, but i plan to. It's a lot of fun and creates a fantastic atmosphere.
