Metal Gear Rising DLC trailer shows off Blade Wolf gameplay

The origin of LQ-84i is very bloody

Konami has released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC add-on Blade Wolf.

The publisher has confirmed the Blade Wolf DLC European release date as May 14 for Xbox 360 and May 15 for PS3. The extra-content offers a side-story starring LQ-84i (Blade Wolf), who features alongside Raiden during the main game. LQ-84i has a number of unique abilities and characteristics that change up gameplay.

"Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement's leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i's story prior to his battle and eventual partnership with Raiden, and his transformation into Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle"

The Blade Wolf DLC will be priced at 560 MSP (£4.80 / €6.72) on Xbox 360 and €6.99 on PS3. Check out the gameplay video below.
