Yeah, although i guess most who would want to see it have seen it already, you shouldn't really be calling number 3 'Serenity - Wash 'sad face', going on to talk about characters getting killed off, and then adding a 'spoiler alert' caption just before you state wash bites it in Serenity. Kind of obvious from what you've written before. You could have been a bit more subtle and had your 'Spoiler' alert in the sub-heading.........

I am an unapologetic nerd who loves, loves, loves Whedon. Great list, but this is one should have stretched out to 50. And then tomorrow another list of his 50 greatest TV moments.

No Alien Resurrection? Finding the failed Ripley / Xenomorph hybrids in the space lab should have No.1, it was genuinely eerie and unnerving, one of the few standout scenes in a flawed film, also Ripley dunking the basketball should be somewhere in the top ten. Oh well.

@Ichi1 - 50? Are you drunk? TF could barely stretch it out to 15, and this list is pretty miserable in terms of film quality. Speed was good fun, but even mentioning Alien Resurrection is a no-no. "Flawed"? Umitigated b******t would sum it up better. Too many Thor (hugely overrated) moments, and Cabin in the Woods (also hugely overrated) is hugely overrated. Hugely overrated, much, Whedon?

The Storm line is only a stinker because it was delivered completely incorrectly. To quote Mr. Whedon: "[on the infamous line spoken by the character Storm in "X-Men" (2000)] That's the interesting thing. Everybody remembers that as the worst line ever written, but the thing about that is, it was supposed to be delivered as completely offhand. [Adopts casual, bored tone.] "You know what happens when a toad gets hit by lightning?" Then, after he gets electrocuted, "Ahhh, pretty much the same thing that happens to anything else." But Halle Berry said it like she was Desdemona. [Strident, ringing voice.] "The same thing that happens to everything eeelse!" That's the thing that makes you go crazy. At least "You're a dick" got delivered right. The worst thing about these things is that, when the actors say it wrong, it makes the writer look stupid."
