Advanced Certificate in Construction Project Management is an intermediate award of the Professional Diploma in Construction Project Management.
In order to achieve successful construction projects, a Project Manager employs specialized tools and techniques to manage schedule, budget, quality and other parameters. This Professional Diploma programme is suited for those people who want to start or sharpen their career in construction project management.
Applicants should: a) Hold an Advanced Certificate or equivalent qualification in a construction discipline (e.g. building studies, building surveying, quantity surveying, engineering, interior design) awarded by a recognised educational institution; or b) i) Be aged at least 23 years with 3 years relevant work experience; and ii) have gained in the HKCEE Grade E or Level 2 in English Language (Syllabus B).
Applicants may be required to take a written test and/or attend an interview as appropriate. Students may need to attend a chargeable compulsory English Enhancement Course subject to the discertion of the Admission Committee.
