Grid 2 trailer shows off changeable tracks

'LiveRoutes' feature makes for unpredictable racing

Codemasters has released a new Grid 2 gameplay trailer to demonstrate its new 'LiveRoutes' feature in action.

LiveRoutes is essentially Codemasters' word for dynamically changeable racetracks. As demonstrated in the video, certain junctions in the street-based courses can switch between one of up to six combinations of routes, so players won't know what's ahead until they get there.

The publisher has confirmed a Grid 2 release date of May 31 in the UK, as well as details of a special edition, which will include codes for two DLC packs to expand the game.

That's the most stupid thing for a racing game. It will just cause accidents.

Seems like a good idea to me, better than racing the same track 100 times over.
