Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 rated for PSN

ESRB lists first two titles in the series for Sony platforms

The first two entries in Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series are coming to the PlayStation Network, according to ESRB ratings.

The listings, which were spotted by a NeoGAF user, indicate that the titles will be released on PS3, Vita and PSP under the PlayStation Classics banner.

The majority of Grand Theft Auto titles are already available on the PSN, but GTA 1 and GTA 2 stand out as notable omissions.

Earlier this week, the CVG team picked a series of its favourite moments from the franchise in this magic GTA moments feature.

Yesterday, Rockstar released a new GTA V trailer focused on the game's three protagonists.

Our new GTA V preview is scheduled to go live on Thursday, accompanied by a lengthy episode of GTA 5 o'Clock.

Any chance GTA London bundled with 1? Overlook class game as 60's setting had a different feel.

Please render the game using a 3D engine, that'd be sweet! Can you imagine putting gta3, vice city and SA maps together as they are now!?! What a bonus that would be!!

I don't see why people would pay for GTA1 & 2 when you can get them for free from Rockstar officially.

Seriously they are free on PC and I'm sure any PC can run them. Some unlucky fools will buy them for like £7.99 for no reason.

I already have all the GTA games so far on PC for £4.99 when Steam sold them during a sale at one point, that was a total bargain too 8)

Wait .... you brought GTA 1 and GTA 2 off steam when they were on sale? When you could have gotten them free from the link I provided before for free?

If they're priced decently then I'll buy these for the Vita.
