Grand Theft Auto 5: Rockstar sends casting call for Los Santos cult members

Viral site seeks actors to be part of GTA universe

On a Grand Theft Auto V-related website, Rockstar is seeking applications for fans to appear in the forthcoming game as a cult member.

The website is disguised as that of Los Santos based cult Klifflom, which believes the world is 157 years old and that sperm doesn't exist. Los Santos, of course, is the fictional city that will feature in GTA V.

When users choose to join the cult's Epsilon Program on the site, they're required to fill out a form. When completed, the terms and conditions reveal the site to be a Rockstar casting site.

The terms and conditions insist the initiative is not a competition, but instead a vetting process for a legitimate "casting call" event "giving Grand Theft Auto fans an opportunity to be cast as one of five Epsilon Program members in Grand Theft Auto V."

Grand Theft Auto V will release in September. Three new trailers are expected to launch at 4pm GMT on Tuesday (that's 1am Wednesday morning in Australia).

One of them should be a scouser. I don't think i've ever heard a scouse voice in a game.

Did I miss the casting-call piece? When I looked through the terms and conditions, it looked like it was to have you likeness used for one of the 5 cult members, I didn't see anything on there about it being a full casting call.

    And for good reason too!
