Top-seeded and 20th-ranked Rice claimed its first Conference USA championship since 2006 and earned an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament with a 4-1 win against No. 24 Tulsa.

The Lady Eagles won their sixth consecutive Big South conference championship with a 4-0 victory against No. 2-seed Charleston Southern on Saturday. Tijana Uzelac clinched the match at No. 6 singles.

Maryland Athletics

Senior Vroni Van Berlo won the last four games of the final set to defeat Hanna Mar and lift Maryland to its first ACC victory of the season against No. 11 Duke at the Tennis Center at College Park on Friday.
