Legal Summit

The Linux Foundation Member Legal Summits are exclusive events for Gold and Platinum level members of the Linux Foundation, and by invitation only to select few guests who are considered luminaries in the Legal field of open source. The goal of the Legal Summits is to provide a neutral environment to discuss and collaborate on the open source legal issues of greatest common interest and concern, including collaborating on the next steps for the legal defense infrastructure for the Linux platform. The Linux Foundation hosts two Member Legal Summits annually.

These Legal Summits are an excellent opportunity for member counsels who are looking for practical legal guidance on open source matters. If you or your company would like to attend this event, please contact us using the form below.

In addition to these exclusive summits, the Linux Foundation hosts a Legal/Compliance track at the Collaboration Summit and the LinuxCon Conference series (NA, JP, EU) that provide a neutral and non-profit forum for Linux Foundation members (Collaboration Summit) and non-members (LinuxCon) to discuss and share common concerns and how to address them, share industry Legal and FOSS compliance best practices, and discuss ways to collaborate.
