Sure, CBS CEO Les Moonves has had some harsh words for streaming TV service Aereo, filing suit against it and even threatening to stop free broadcasts of its shows if the company is allowed to keep operating — but that doesn’t mean CBS has written off streaming broadcast TV altogether. Where are all of Apple's Siri-integrated cars?

mylink siri

Ten months ago, Apple proudly announced nine partners that were signed up to integrate Apple's Siri personal assistant into their cars. BMW, Mercedes, GM, Land Rover, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler, and Honda logos were all projected onto Apple's WWDC screen, with the promise that Siri-integrated cars would be coming within a year. Bulk enterprise licensing is supposed to let businesses send in-house apps to employees without dealing with Apple's App Store. It works via a developer provisioning profile, which facilitates "sideloading" of sorts without jailbreaking.

The site is only open to users in China, but that restriction can be...

Osito for iPhone: can this minimalist Google Now clone make a splash before the real thing?

osito

There is no shortage of Google Now clones for iPhone, but none of them successfully emulate Google's concise and tasteful representation of data. Tempo focuses too much on being a "smart" calendar, cluttering your screen with email attachments related to your events, while Grokr soils results with restaurant recommendations. Osito, a free app launching today for iPhone, wants to do the opposite: provide you with only the most essential...
