A lack of light in the metro tunnels is less immediately lethal, but it is still a crucial resource that must be expended with care. The project of two-man team Ron Kaulfersch and Mike Schwark, Errant Heart stars a young painter named Lira Moretti. The game is set in an alternate Europe, circa 1940s, where Hitler never existed. A Kickstarter campaign for the interactive fiction game was launched in March, and along with it, Schwark and Kaulfersch's chance to break into a niche genre.
Kaulfersch and Schwark are best known for their Tokyopop-published graphic novel series, Van Von Hunter. It's a medium that operates on a principle of compromise, Kaulfersch said, as artwork and story are too often pushed to the back in favor of speed and efficiency.

John Needham, former CEO of Cryptic Studios and Gazillion Entertainment, has been appointed studio head of Fable developer Lionhead Studios, according to a recent posting on the developer's website.
As CEO, Needham oversaw development studios that have created games like City of Heroes and Star Trek Online (Cryptic) and Marvel Heroes (Gazillion). Lionhead's post touts his experience with massively multiplayer online role-playing games, free-to-play titles as well as PC and mobile games.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer and images from its upcoming Anno Online alongside news that the free-to-play browser-based MMO had moved into its closed beta phase.
The latest installment of the Anno strategy series, Anno Online starts players off on a deserted island with only a harbor and warehouse, and asks them to build that into a city and bustling commercial empire. The game is based upon the medieval setting of Anno 1404, and revolves around the seafaring mercantilism of the early Age of Sail.

"Mob of the Dead" is the newest addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Zombies mode, and its soundtrack is now available for purchase, publisher Activision announced today.
The album, which is called Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies - "Mob of the Dead" Soundtrack, boasts 26 tracks, almost all of which are original songs from developer Treyarch. Two of the pieces are previously unreleased bonus tracks from existing Zombies maps Tranzit and Die Rise. The soundtrack also features Judith de los Santos Romero and Clark S. Nova.

Strike Suit Infinity uses combat elements and "high-flying maneuvers" similar to those in Strike Suit Zero in gameplay akin to an endless horde mode. Players will battle waves of oncoming enemies with the goal to survive each progressively-harder new round and ascend the rankings in online leaderboards.

In this trailer, protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton (also known as Assassin's Creed 3 hero Connor) demonstrates the power of the bear spirit when fighting Washington's forces, using its might to send them flying.
