| I'm not a graphics whore but I must admit I wasn't all that impressed. The environments (dem mountains) are gorgeous but the character model was sloppy and the physics no better than the previous generation (bricks still behave like styrofoam). Still, I had to remind myself at least a dozen times that this was all real-time. Looked like a prerendered custscene! Flag this | Edit this post |

| The whole "medieval weaponry trumps modern combat" thing pisses me off. Bows and arrows are cumbersome, inefficient weapons that would never see the light of day in a battlefield. AGAIN, it's the same f*cking game. Not even a change in scenery. It seems Crytek just remembered everyone liked the jungle but refused to leave the comfort zone of New York so they put the two together.
If they could just return to the original Crysis and none of this linear hand-holding bullshit. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If anything I must admit the Call of Duty franchise knows how to pull-off dramatic cinema and create intense and unforgettable moments. Despite using such an ancient engine the animations are still decent.
Can't say the same for the aesthetics. My god does it look f*cking hideous. I thought next-gen brown was two generations ago? Nevertheless, the futuristic setting is enough to pique my interest a tad. Flag this | Edit this post |
