| Ha--thanks man. Ya, I suppose I may have gone a bit too far with the voice adjustment. As it goes on I think it's clearer though. Turning up the volume might help a bit as well, but then again maybe it's easy for me to say since I know what it's supposed to sound like! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Oh ya, I hear you--huge towers and the like are just way too cumbersome for my uses. I like being able to move my pc easily and not take up too much space when I don't need to move it.
For me though, it was about the challenge to see if it was possible to pull off the performance of mid and full tower applications in a much smaller size. Anyone can achieve good airflow and neatly route cables when the case is cavernous, but it's a bit more difficult in a shoebox. While companies like EVGA and Thermaltake are making that easier, it still requires some forethought on the builder's part. I've already started a few mods and I'm excited to see how they affect things. I like being able to add some personal touches to builds that improve both form and function.

| Hey thanks--it definitely is pretty sweet.
But ya, Dan was getting some food and he saw me trying to overclock the cash register on break and he thought, "hey, that guy looks like he might be able to write a decent article on a LAN party machine..."
The rest is history... Flag this | Edit this post |

| » contest stuff Hey Dan, looks like you're swamped with backed up contest stuff so I'm sorry to bother you about it.
I just wanted to let you know that I've moved but I still haven't heard anything from Skippy about the motherboard I won for the EVGA contest. Would you mind letting me know what I should do to get my board or at least let me know if I should forget about it?
Thanks for all your work and I'm sorry this is all on you... Flag this | Edit this post |

| You got me pretty good there friend. You really did...
Frankly, it seems you were just hoping to win and now you're upset that you didn't.
Also, I'm unclear about what part of my post you're calling drivel. Was it the part where I pointed out that you obviously didn't read the contest guidelines, or the part where I recommend not getting bent out of shape over a $50 game?
Oh ya, and you're spot on about me being the kind of person that likes getting into other people's business for no reason but to make myself seem witty. That was totally what I was going for. You make that really easy by the way.
As for your outbursts of frustration/anger over a game, your poor reading comprehension, your subpar haiku, and your false sense of ent1tlement, I guess I'll just chalk that up to you being the kind of person who thinks you're tough because you listen to black metal music and is mad at the world because of it.
Keep trying though, and maybe you'll get some people to like you one day. Flag this | Edit this post |

| LOL, I just popped in to see who won since I already own the game. Shenanigans..LOL! I love it. Seriously though, don't get your tentacles in a tangle buddy. It's only a contest.
BTW, in the entry parameters it doesn't say anything about centering the limericks/haikus to DoW II or the "Warhammer 40k Universe". Here's the quote: "We're keeping it simple at FS and for this one we want you to write a haiku or limerick based on your thoughts of war in the future." 70% of the entries (including the cluster's creator's entry) didn't have anything to do with DoW II because they didn't have to...just an FYI.
There's also nothing in the rules that say when somebody has to join the cluster. It's a GAME. Sell some plasma or something and go out and buy it if you're that distraught! Shenanigans...LMAO. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » I heart EVGA contest Hey Dan,
I won the EVGA mobo contest but haven't received anything yet. I e-mailed Skippy a few times and he said he'd be sending it out but the time frame he gave has passed and he hasn't sent any tracking info either. The only reason I'm anxious is because I'm moving soon and want to make sure it gets sent to the right place... Flag this | Edit this post |
