As we were starting our third "season" in the Twin Cities, we had expanded our audiences to not just colleges, but some adult and rehabilitative settings. Therefore, we started working on a scene that would address some of the different issues raised in the "real world." Normally we tape-record the first couple run-throughs so we don't lose our momentum. Unfortunately, we didn't have a tape recorder, however, we did have my Newton, which actually records very well, but between the compression of the aiff recording (1:6 to keep the file small), and the fact that the SOS office is not a recording studio, there is a noticeable, but negligible, hiss.

Also, please keep in mind that this is a work-in-progress, and not a final product. But if you're wondering just what we do, this should give you a very good idea.

Strangely enough, AIFF isn't playable in certain players (like Windows Media - go figure), there's a larger MP3 of the same recording here (6.4 MB versus the AIFF's 1.4 MB)
