Don't install and play Paradise Island (from 2:28) EVER! This game is badly developed money sucker without the feature to backup your progress, or move your progress to another device... Their support is the worst what I see in my life. They're russian, don't except anything good based on this. You cannot complete any event in the game without paying real money. You cannot complete the game itself without paying a lot of money (more than 100$). They just want money, they don't care with the gamers. Their solution for save your progress: Backup the game data with any 3rd party app. To do this you have to root your device first. In most cases you'll loose the warranty if you root your device. They don't have any reachable EULA or any other legal notes. So if you don't want to struggle with a shitty game what only want your money, and a shitty support when you have problems, just avoid Paradise Island (and all other games of Game Insight, all their games have these unfair conditions)!

Like they said on Cartoon Network, don't think they haven't noticed how Samsung is ripping off their Robot Unicorn Attack games with the Unicorn Apocalypse thing.  And then they have the unmitigated gall to pick a winner that looks and plays exactly the same way.  Bad form, Samsung.

I was actually looking for SimCity in the Android market a few days ago.

Jessykins, I like your voice...can i hire you to read out my emails for me please? Not the ones about 'increasing my size for her pleasure' or the ones sent from Nigerian princes....just the other stuff. Thanks.

way too many of those 'Hold F to...' They are going to have to smooth out the gameplay before release.

Why is GameSpot doing companies like Zynga and SocialGameany favours? They aren't games they are carrot on a stick scams...

@rosen22 I don't think any of the games they mentioned were Zynga.  They just look like them.

I'd rather pay attention to the surrounding environment.

Whatever you chose to buy, BE VERY CAREFUL with "Virtual City" by Big Fish Games, a game that I downloaded for my Android phone last year. It costs around 2 Euros, but it requires you to subscribe as a member to their site. It's free, but in the small print, it says that only the first month is free and after that every month you pay 6.80 Euros, unless you cancel your subscription. Personally I lost over than 50 Euros for 8 months, because I'm badly organized person and basically an idiot, as I didn't bother to check those PAY PAL messages in my mail service every month that were notifying me that I keep paying money to some Big Fish Games company.

@Rheinmetal jeez dude is Britain in that bad of shape or are you that povertized were 50 bucks throughout an 8 month period is hard for you? jesus man i know people in public housing that dont complain that much.

@CiTizenMaSSaKre @Rheinmetal citizen, are you so well off that someone can leach off of you for something free over months and years that you don't even care?  Why not send me 10 usd a month, i'll set it all up and withdraw the money directly from your account and you'll never notice.  I'll tell all my friends as well since you don't mind, you have enough.

When you people start to justify paying for something that's free, i worry about the world.  It doesn't matter if it was 1 usd a year, it has no place in the small print, but in the normal sized print of the contract you agree too.  If it's not there, then it's a scam.

I bought my iPhone thinking I'd play a fair amount of games on it, but the controls always hold me back honestly.  I don't feel like touch screens are good for controlling a lot of game types, but they still seem to sell.  Some games developed with them in mind are fun, but usually pretty simple.  Something this complex, I wonder how well it would control.

@GunnyHath I can say the same for my nexus 7.  The only thing I play with any consistency is the SNES emulator that I control with a wiimote.

This simply should have been a list of games that do not work

@gp3tron Those would be handy! Unfortunately this is exclusively a show about mobile games.

This is a terrible article, Dont show all the games, dont list whats good and bad about them. Its almost like a high school did this. Go take a journalism class.

The SimCity-like games for iOS are fun, but difficult to move your cursor around. Yes, it does have limitations, but that one thing alone turned me off continuing those games.

The only thing that can hold me down is Theme Park World. It does require some tweaks to run on Windows 7, but once it is working, you will forget what the time is. I assure you that.

Many games mentioned are also available on Windows Phone too. But, for some reasons Gamespot doesn't have the budget to try them.

"doesn't" play like...SimCity. The fact that people can play any of these games automatically means it doesn't play like SimCity.
