some of the nerdy neverwinter/D&D; fanboys crying and criticizing this without even playing it are some of the sorriest sacks of sh*t. you truly make me lol. Get over yourselves, get over the fact that  it's a game, and a very decent game (yes, unlike a lot of you b*tchers & wh*ners and lorefreak b*tt buddies I have played it for a few days already) & geta  f*cking life & find something to complain about that matters and isn't a f*cking fntasy world that has no impact ony our life whatsoever. put some of your energy into complaining to the crooks that have put the country in debt and are f*cking up the economy and ignoring the constitution as it suits their greedy purpose.

TLDR: D&D; and forgotten realms fangirls, STFU and complain about somehting important. at least play the game before you complain.

Really looking forward to this game. just the thought of creating your own adventures alone is amazing.

Still working my way to ascended gear in guild wars 2 and really enjoying it.

I play 2/3 hours a day and the time is well spent.

Wow, they ruined Neverwinter by making an MMO version but how did they manage to make it worse by having such terrible jerky movements and silly combat. What a waste of time and energy...

So what separates this mmo from the 5 billion other mmos that look and play exactly like this?  Good lord someone please do something new with this genre.  Not to mention thanks for dragging Neverwinter's good name through the dirt with you.

@2bitSmOkEy two majors differences: its Dungeons and Dragons and it has user created dungeons. Besides, i played during the beta weekend and it's been long since ive had so much fun in an MMO.

so, neverwinter went down the drain it looks like. I really hope this isn't what'll happen to the new elder scrolls MMO...but I have a feeling it might turn out the same ;(

I gave up on this mmo when I reached my mid 20's and found that the only way to identify items you receive is to farm id scrolls or purchase them with in game currency. When asked in general several times, the community acknowledged that they only way to get more ID scrolls and therefore sell items at any value; is to farm up scrolls or spend in game currency.

So standard green and blue mmo drops have been turned into a cash sink. To put this in relation, from 1 to 29 I earned over 1000 crystals that can be used to buy in game items such as scrolls. To buy one ID scroll it was 800 crystals. So compounded with the limited inventory space, which of course you can pay RL cash to expand; and the fact that you can't even get items out of your inventory without spending RL cash unless you want to sell the item for one copper, the game has a really horrible MT process.

@Rubious You do know its a beta and prices are bound to change? And you shouldnt identify all the items you get, just the ones you think you can use.
It's perfectly normal in D&D; to have expensive item identification on lower levels and the ID scroll drops on higher levels are much higher, plus farming them in the right places is not that hard.

@Rubious Yeah, you could tell this game is a pure scam when they try to sell you a 200 dollar starter pack and claim it's worth 550 bucks. Bunch of morons.

@Tripwolf @Rubious
The 200 dollar pack is more like a donation, just like people who pay 500 bucks for a kickstarter game, and they only receive the game and some extras.

Every other MMO ever. Main reason I no longer play them.
