@Kennheiser @IamExistence its definitely a fine balance because some of the interviews in starcraft with players specifically are pretty stale imo haha and I agree with you on the charm because it is raw it is real(more so than other public events at least). I just hope that E-sports gets taken seriously to become as big as other organizations because I love it and I don't want it misconstrued as "oh it is just some kids playing video games and talking trash" because of poorly prepared interviews, letting feelings override the demeanor needed in such situations.

@IamExistence @Kennheiser I mean they could have certainly been more professional about the whole interview but in my opinion, these types of interviews have their own merits. It makes them seem more human and not just reciting what someone has told them to say. And I think that's a certain charm that comes with E-sports. Although truthfully, I only follow LoL so maybe players in other more established games such as Starcraft conduct interviews in a more professional manner. Also I am somewhat biased against the format of the show just because I feel that it is trying TOO hard to be professional.

@Kennheiser @IamExistence Prepared statements are made to help calm the storms while things are still up in the air to prevent further escalation and prevent statements that can't be taken back, like for instance what xpecial did.

I personally feel his statements were very unprofessional all while his boss is sitting right next to him. Maybe it is because E-sports is still growing, but it isn't like we have to establish all new ground rules for what to do in negative PR situations. We have already established what to do in those situations for years, but perhaps there isn't a big enough organization yet for those rules to be implemented or the staff isn't there. I don't claim to know the reasons, but feel it is definitely something that should be looked at.

To me, interviews should come after things have calmed down a bit and that is when genuine statements should be made about what happened (or at least whatever the public is allowed to know haha) and both sides of the story told. To go off regi's statement, if you want to be professional you have to act professional. 

Do you feel they were professional with this interview? I'm asking for opinion, don't take it as hostility haha I'm just openly curious to hear others thoughts. 

Edit: Them meaning xpecial and regi, I feel the interviewer was very professional haha

@IamExistence @Kennheiser I would think that that would be the manager's job (forgot what their manager's name is), and I think TSM does do a bit of "training" to help teammates get camera training as for when they're doing interviews. However, I kind of don't like the idea that they have prepared statements just cause it makes it feel less "genuine". I mean Chaox on his Facebook said that it's hard not having a PR guy handle business talks, so I'm assuming that TSM does have a PR team mainly in their manager.

Its a real shame, because I remember watching vlogs from a few years ago, and Reginald and Chaox and everyone acted like family. Time changes people, I guess :(.

could not agree more, I normally am an avid Xpecial stream watcher, I find he shines a lot of interesting information in regards to support play style and seems to enjoy doing so as well. However, after watching the episode earlier today and seeing his reaction and then later on watching this interview, my opinion on his personal character has greatly changed. Chaox was basically an hour or two away from being gone for good, and he couldn't tell him to his face what he thought about everything, yet has a hostile "Tell All" in an interview after Chaox is on the other side of the country lol, Very sheepish, childish and quite the scumbag move Xpecial. Very disappointing. 

@Rawzlekk123 @Xero_Persona Yeah, and the whole "I never liked Chaox as a person." thing seemed a bit cruel. Xpecial is one of those passive-aggressive people that would never say stuff like that to someone's face. Pisses me off.

Everyone here is right to an extent. Chaox fk'd up at Dallas, with his punctuality in regards to practice, if a major player in any major sport establishment were late, they would be fined and benched for X amount of games.Which Chaos wound up doing that to himself (Benching himself for a week after dallas, not the fine part), knowing that he had some stuff to work out and get right (as mentioned in the games crib ep.).

 Regi for all sakes and purposes for a better word is a bitch. He does hide behind the "I'm an owner" slogan too much. S1 and S2, Regi was the weak point and was carried all the way up to and through worlds. Great businesses are ran by people who perform the best they absolutely can, each and everyday and then some, and never expect more from someone else than they too would put in. Same goes for respect, respect is not given, it is earned, and that goes for personal or professional relationships, so if he's saying its a "Slap in the face" then where is the respect given to sit Chaox down and be like "yo this and this need to change or your out, not talking to you as a friend or teammate but as your boss" like he mentioned he was going to do, which would have shown a lot of respect, especially considering Dyrus/Oddone S2 fiasco, and more than likely would have gotten positive feedback in return by Chaox.

 If Regi really cared about the success of his "Business" he would choose to either A) quit the team and be the "Owner" or B) Be their mid player/friend/roommate and hand Ownership to someone else (Dan maybe?) with a contract clause of course which entitles him in some way. There is no room for personal ties in professionalism. Until that happens, its only a matter of time until the next piece of straw pwns the camel, so who's next?

@Haysooooom @Omega_Rend @Quirion_Xenosen @LukySea How does it not make sense? Here I'll dumb it down for you. Regi kicked Chaox for personal reasons not professional reasons. Regi has a secured job unless TSM roster changes with CLG to be in a position of potentially getting kicked from LCS.

@Quirion_Xenosen @Omega_Rend @LukySea @Haysooooom So why didn't he kick Dyrus when he is always late? He even says Dyrus is always late. Why didn't he kicked Oddone when he was late? Its very simple. Regi got along with them. Chaox and Regi have never really gotten along so therefore he didnt give Chaox the same generosity he gave Dyrus and Oddone. He straight up kicked him. If you honestly think TSM is in the same league as CLG with the falling behind, you must not really know the skill levels of all the other teams. For TSM to be in CLG's position of potentially getting kicked from LCS, they would have to roster change with CLG.

@Omega_Rend @Quirion_Xenosen @LukySea @Haysooooom Again with the stupidity. They had been losing plenty of games, currently sitting at third only AFTER going 3-0 with WildTurtle. You do realize if they fell below (like CLG is doing) they can get kicked out of LCS at mid - season right?

So, for you, its okay for him to stand up his team and not go to practices? My god, are you 12?

So the fact is they aren't getting kicked out of LCS during the season unless of course they get banned by the awesome Tribunal system these days. Regi's career isn't on the line for this season is my point! For those saying also I'm only looking at it the emotional point of view, did you not watch Chaox carry in Dallas? Not sure how he professionally isnt doing the job he gets paid to do and thats play a video game. LCS doesn't care how late he was to practice, they just care about is he actually in the matches when scheduled.

So he has job security, so of course the moment you get in his face, he'll replace you. However, he doesn't confess to any of his flaws ever. Even after someone calls him out, he ignores them and finds some excuse.

If one my workers are slacking off i defiantly do the same as regi did. He even stated everyone career is on the line this season so this is a solid decision for him and as a team
