PR Opportunities

The Linux Foundation provides a range of opportunities for brand visibility and exposure for sponsors at our events.  We can also provide sponsors with PR recommendations as well as a list of registered media, analysts and bloggers who will be attending a particular event.  All of these services are included with our event sponsorships.

PR Strategy
The Linux Foundation has extensive experience with Linux and open source media and is available to answer any questions that you have regarding your PR strategy before or during any of our events.

Access to Media
Press, analyst and blogger information will only be available to sponsors of Linux Foundation events.  This information will be provided in the weeks before a specific event to give sponsors the opportunity to set up on-site interviews and meetings.  Please note that the press list is only available to sponsor contacts and not third party PR firms.

Meeting Rooms
Limited meeting space is available at some of our conferences for press and analyst briefings.  When the press list becomes available for an event, you will have the opportunity to arrange meetings and reserve a room in advance.  The blocks will be limited to a half-hour and an hour, with a daily limit of two hours per day per sponsor.  Please submit your meeting room requests via email to media (at) linuxfoundation dot org.  Please include the following: event name, company name, name and contact information of person requesting meeting, meeting time and length, and press/analyst attending the meeting.  You may also be able to reserve rooms on a first-come first-serve basis.

New Product or Service Announcement
With a wide range of Linux community members and media attending our events, The Linux Foundation is able to provide maximum visibility for sponsors who are interested in making announcements and launching new products or services.  Whether you wish to reach the developer community or corporate end users, we will be able to work with you to choose the right event for your announcement.
