LinuxCon North America 2011 | Student Program

The Linux Foundation and the Oregon State University Open Source Lab are pleased to offer the ‘Linux Learners’ Student Day at LinuxCon 2011, on Tuesday, August 16th.

 

Registration

Attendance is Free for 'Linux Learners' Student Day  – Register Here.  For students that would also like to stay for LinuxCon, August 17th-19th, the student registration fee is $100. Register Here.

Coming from Portland or Corvallis?  If you are a student from Corvallis or Portland interested in attending, we are pleased to offer a student package that includes: Roundtrip bus transportation, five nights accommodations at the YWCA Hotel in downtown Vancouver (shared room, 5 ppl), and registration to LinuxCon North America.  The bus will depart on the morning of Monday, August 15th for Vancouver, and return on Saturday, August 20th.  This package is US$300.  To register for this package, please click here.

 

Hotel & Transportation
For students that would like to attend from outside the Vancouver area, we are in the process of securing hostel accommodations.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that we will be providing bus transportation from both Corvallis and Portland for students for only $50. More information will be posted shortly. The bus will depart on the morning of Monday, August 15th, and will depart Vancouver the morning of Saturday, August 20th.
