LinuxCon North America 2011 | Partner/Family Program

Vancouver is a great city, and if you'd like to bring your partner or family with you this year, feel free! If they'd like to tour the area on their own while you are at LinuxCon, here's a great list of things to do in Vancouver. In the evening, your partner can join you for the 20th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday night, or the VIP dinner on Thursday night. Options to add each of these are available on your LinuxCon registration form.

We are also offering Partner Program tours for those interested in a more structured way to see the city. To register, please add on the Partner Program option to your LinuxCon registration form. The Partner Program package includes two days tours (Wednesday, August 17th and Thursday, August 18th) as well as a ticket to the Wednesday evening 20th Anniversary Gala event.

Included on Wednesday is a tour of Stanley Park, Vancouver's Green Oasis, Granville Island, and the city of  Vancouver (7 hours, 9:00am pick-up). On Thursday, visit the peak of Vancouver at Grouse Mountain and muster up the courage to cross the 136 meter (446ft) Capilano Suspension Bridge that soars 70 meters (230ft) above the Capilano River (6 hours, 9:00am pick-up). Details will be sent to all attendees registered for the Partner Program one week prior to LinuxCon.
