Android Builders Summit | Hotel & Travel

The 1st Annual Android Builders Summit will be held at the Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco, CA.

The Hotel Kabuki is a premier Japanese-style hotel located in San Francisco and renovated in 2007. Located right in the heart of town, the hotel is just a few blocks away from Pacific Heights' Fillmore Street with its stylish boutiques and well-known restaurants. Union Square, the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate, Chinatown and the famed cable cares are also nearby. The Hotel Kabuki is easy to reach by car, airport shuttle or public transportation. Three municipal bus lines stop within a block of the Hotel Kabuki and provide excellent service throughout the city.

Accommodations
The Linux Foundation has secured room blocks and discounted room rates at the Hotel Kabuki and its sister hotel the Hotel Tomo which is located less than two blocks away.  These room blocks are now full.  If you still need a room, please check the Queen Anne Hotel or the Hotel Majestic, which are both just a few blocks away.

Air Travel
Reserve your air travel as soon as possible. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport. It is 25-minutes from the airport to downtown San Francisco. Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a 30-minute drive over the Bay Bridge. If you require transportation between the airport and hotel, we recommend you contact the hotel's transportation partner, Lorrie's Airport Service. The approximate cost from San Francisco Airport (SFO) to the Hotel Kabuki or Hotel Tomo is $15. You can book online here.

Ground Transportation and Parking
Parking is available at the Japan Center Garage (which is attached to the Hotel Kabuki) for $15/day.  The garage is located between Geary and Post (on the north and south sides) and Webster and Buchanan (on the east and west sides).  The garage entrances are located on Geary and Post, between Webster and Buchanan.  You can access the hotel directly from the garage on the far east side.

Valet parking is also available at the Hotel Kabuki for $35/day. The Hotel Tomo also has very limited parking available at $20/day.
