Multiple affiliate marketing programs

Good morning all,

I am new to this whole concept, can someone explain to me if i have a few different companies doing affiliate marketing, for example company x and y. Via one of the companies i make a sale... how do i know who i need to pay, what if they both make claims that they sold the item... how do i work this problem out.

Have you submitted your product to a Affiliate Network? or Tracking Site?

Example: Paydotcom, CJ.com, ClickBank.com

These places track sales, and who made them... for you

All you do is set up your merchant account, your Affiliate product - and Sign affiliates up... If you need in depth help feel free to message me

Is it worth it to invest the extra $$ in a tracking company or are most affiliates trustworthy (obviously i have tracking on my end, but very basic)
