oFono: Open Source Telephony
Date: 3:45pm, Wednesday, September 29th oFono is an open source telephony stack and framework for the Linux platform, specifically targeted for embedded/mobile devices and desktop/laptop computers. Together with ConnMan and BlueZ, oFono forms the basis of the Meego communications architecture, and we're working hard to make oFono the de-facto mobile communications stack for Linux. In this session we will introduce oFono and share its design philosophy. We will also discuss some of the more interesting features of oFono available today, as well as the short term and longer term goals of the project.
