SSD Impact on Linux IO Stack
Date: 11:35am, Wednesday, September 29th With the advent of SSD storage, the operating system IO stacks have had to radically improve in the space of a very short time. What networking had decades to work on from 10MBit to 10GBit, the Linux IO stack had to achieve in a much shorter time span. This talk will detail what attempts have been made to deal with this already, and what still remains to be done.
