Marketing Linux to the Next Generation of Japanese (and Asian) End-Users

Christine L.E.V. Hansen, Le Ciel

At the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit Christine challenged the Linux community to plan for the next generation of Linux end-users. Here, she lays out one possible 'introduction' to Linux as as marketing tool, using several different reasonings. More than 'mere basics', for the first time, Christine presents images showing why, for example, Linux is so safe and what virtualization looks like.  Audience and Level of Technical Expertise: Developers, managers, C's wanting to further the market (internal and external), and thinking of their companies, in Linux strategies. Especially of interest to companies branching out in Linux.
