Jens Axboe, Oracle

Jens works for Oracle as a Linux kernel hacker. His main areas of expertise are block IO, IO schedulers, and just IO in general. He has worked on SATA/IDE/SCSI, IO scheduling, IO core code, etc. His daily work includes research into new developments in the kernel, as well as maintaining the Linux block IO layer. Jens has spoken at conferences such as OLS (2004), Linux Kernel Conference Tokyo (2004, LCA (2007) and others.
