Hyatt House Belmont/Redwood Shores

A shuttle will be available each morning to bring guests from the Hyatt House to the Sofitel at 8:00am, 8:15am and 8:30am. Evening shuttles from the Sofitel to Hyatt House will depart at 7:15pm, 7:30pm and 7:45pm on Thursday and 5:45pm, 6:00pm, 6:15pm on Friday. Shuttles on Wednesday evening will go directly from the Hiller Aviation Museum to the Hyatt House.
TRANSPORTATION
Air Travel & Ground Transporation from SFO
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport. It is 15-minutes from the airport to the Sofitel. The Sofitel offers complimentary shuttles to/from the airport from 6am-11pm on an as needed basis – please contact the Sofitel directly at (650) 598-9000 to request a pick up. Pickup location is on the outer curb of the Departures level. Please look for the sign that says “Hotel Shuttles”.
Getting to the Sofitel and Parking
The Sofitel is located at 223 Twin Dolphin Drive in Redwood City, just east of Highway 101 between San Francisco and San Jose.
Free garage parking is available at the Sofitel, and the garage entrance is located directly across from the main entrance of the hotel. Valet parking is also available for $12/night.
If you are interested in traveling into San Francisco via public transportation, you can take the shuttle to the airport and easily catch the BART into the city (This will take approximately 40-45min.

The Sofitel has two onsite dining options for guests as well – The Bay Café Restaurant & Bar - a full service restaurant, and The Market at the Sofitel, which provides a variety of pastries, beverages and snacks. Evening events on Wednesday and Thursday evening will include food and drinks for attendees, though on Thursday only appetizers will be provided.
WHAT'S NEARBY
Nob Hill Shopping Center – 3 minute drive/10 minute walk from the Sofitel, it has numerous chain restaurants including Mango Bay, Una Mas, Amici’s Pizzeria, Togo’s Sandwiches, Bagel Street Café and Starbucks. Maps will be available at registration or view an online map.
Laurel Street, San Carlos – about a 10 minute drive south of the Sofitel is the town of San Carlos, which has numerous shops, bars and restaurants on Laurel Street where one can grab a quick bite or sit down for a relaxing meal.
Downtown San Mateo – located just a 10 minute drive north of the Sofitel, downtown San Mateo offers a wide variety of dining options in the area around South B and East 4th Streets.
