LinuxCon Japan 2011 will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center.

Hotel Accommodations

The Linux Foundation has secured room blocks for LinuxCon Japan attendees at the following two hotels.

Pan Pacific Yokohama - This four-star hotel is located directly across the street from Pacifco, one minute from the Minatomirai subway station and is attached to the Queen's Square Yokohama shopping and dining complex.

Executive Twin Room with Balcony (43 sq meters) - 15,000 yen/night (approximately US$185) - includes tax and service charges.

To reach the hotel from Narita Airport, please take the JR Narita Express or Airport Limo Bus to Yokohama Station (84 minutes). From there, you can take a cab to to Pan Pacific (10 minutes) or transfer to the Minatomirai Line and exit at Minatomirai Station (4 minutes).  Exit the station into the Queen's Square Building.  The Pan Pacific can be accessed from inside the Queen's Square Building (the station is on the basement level, and the hotel entrance is on the first level).

To reach the hotel from Haneda airport, please take the bus to Yokohama Station (30 minutes). Once at Yokohama Station, follow the directions above to Pan Pacific.

Navios Yokohama - This three-star hotel is located 4 blocks from Pacifico, three minutes from Basyamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line, in Central Yokohama.

The hotel offers 2 room types for one guest: Standard Room, 8,400/yen night (around $99) or a Deluxe Room, 10,500/yen night (around $124).  The hotel also offers 1 room types for two guests: Standard Room, 12,600/yen night.  These rates include taxes, and the hotel does not have a service charge.

To reach the Navios from Narita airport: Take the JR Narita Express or the Airport Limo Bus to Yokohama Station.  Then either take a taxi to Navios, or transfer to the Minatomirai Line and exit at Basyamichi Station.  To reach the Navios from Haneda airport, take the bus to Yokohama Station, then follow the directions above.

Food and Beverage

Continental Breakfast and morning/afternoon coffee breaks are complimentary for LinuxCon Japan attendees.  Attendees are on their own for lunch.  There are a number of restaurant options for lunch located right around Pacifico including 18 restaurants in the Queen's Garden and Landmark Plaza shopping plaza across the street from Pacifico.
