Hideo Aoki, Hitachi, Ltd.

Hideo Aoki is a researcher at Hitachi, Ltd., Systems Development Laboratory in Japan. He received his BS and MS from Ritsumeikan University and joined Hitachi, Ltd. in 2000. In 2003, to be able to use Linux for enterprise production systems, Linux became his research topic. He is interested in networking and memory and resource management of Linux kernel. He committed patch set of new socket buffer accounting interface for datagram protocols to 2.6.25. In addition, he submitted a few memory management patches to 2.6 kernel.
