Sinsai.info: Crowdsourcing Disaster Response/Reconstruction Platform and the Next
There are many eye catch activities behind the huge disaster in east Japan at 311, especially in area of social media, open source software and open collaboration/community. They archive tremendous speed and development effort and support disaster response by IT. Sinsai.info is one of the most famous service in such area. Through my presentation, you will be able to understand the secret of why they were able to launch the service within such a short period of time, run such a high speed in this presentation in the view point what enabler technology they use and what is a key for success. The day 6/11 is a mile stone where 2000 hours passes from 311 disaster. He will show a direction of sinsai.info and crowdsourcing open data/open collaboration.

Changing the World, One Map at a Time
Maps are changing our world in ways we could hardly imagine just a few years ago? This presentation will explain why, giving real world examples ranging from Haiti and Egypt to Libya and Japan. Today's maps are live maps that combine crowds and clouds to drive social change. The presentation will highlight the latest in the field of crisis mapping including the application of check-in's.

Hack for Japan
During the time of crisis, are there anything developers can do? Through this talk I am going to introduce the actions taken by a group of volunteer developers call Hack For Japan.
