Wii U owners are getting a lot of attention, with "LEGO City: Undercover," "Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" and "Need for Speed: Most Wanted U" all landing in the eShop after the weekend. Nintendo is also continuing the 30th anniversary of Famicom by offering a Virtual Console edition of "Punch Out! Featuring Mr. Dream" for only $0.30 in the Wii U eShop beginning March 20th.

Never fear 3DS owners, you're getting some digital love as well, with demos, deals and your own digital copy of "Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" hitting the eShop on March 19th. 'Pandora's Tower' Trailer: Get The Girl Some Monster Flesh

The Ganbarion-developed RPG "Pandora's Tower" is out next month and publisher XSEED Games has released an English-language trailer laying out the story of one poor girl's need to chow down on the flesh of beasts in order to not become one herself.

Luigi 101 With Shigeru Miyamoto - Origins, Importance, and His Role In 'New Super Luigi U'

2013 is going to be a big year for Mario’s little brother, Luigi, so much so that Nintendo has already taken to calling it "The Year of Luigi." Never really one to steal the spotlight from Mario, Luigi has always been a secondary character for the franchise, but, that still makes him arguably one of the biggest names in video games... ever. Between the release of "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon" on March 24, the upcoming "New Super Luigi U" expansion pack, and his role in a host of other Nintendo games on both the Wii U and 3DS, Luigi is set to have an unprecedented presence this year, which should make his faithful followers, both inside and outside of Nintendo very happy. We recently had a chance to ask Luigi’s creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, some questions about the origins of everyone’s favorite green-shirted plumber, and we learned that there’s a lot more to Luigi than you might think.

Nintendo eShop Update 3.7.13

This week the Wii U eShop has been left out, but 3DS owners get the "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity" demo, "Nano Assault EX" and that "Kersploosh" game we heard about a few weeks ago. There's also some new games headed to the Wii Virtual Console, including "The King of Fighters '98" and "Wrecking Crew." Read More...

This week, "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate" gets a demo for 3DS, while the Wii U is introduced to "Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien." Wii is also getting some love, as "Retro City Rampage" has landed on the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo Network Emergency Maintenance Through January 29th

This 'Evolution of Video Game Consoles' Infographic May Teach You A Thing Or Two

Many folks are under the impression that video game consoles started with the Atari 2600 or Nintendo's NES in the 1980s. However, video game consoles can actually be traced all the back to the 1960s, with the introduction of "The Brown Box," which was followed by the Magnavox Odyssey in the 70s.

To set the record straight, Ript Apparel (a great source for gaming t-shirts) has put together a rather impressive infographic.
