Avid DC readers have seen Batman and Superman thrown together in a lot of contexts, but most times, they're quite familiar with each other.
In writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee's new series "Batman/Superman," launching June 5, it won't be like that. Readers will see the first-ever meeting between the two heroes and, at least at first, they won't be super friendly.
I took a few minutes to chat with Pak about what's in store for the pair.

It’s been a few days since I sat in a room of screaming, excited fans, watching the world premiere of "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1" here in New York. Certainly, this is a vastly different experience the rest of you will have when you watch this movie at home (unless you manage to get 280 of your closest friends in one place), so any review of the movie is going to be tainted by the circumstances surrounding the viewing. That’s why I feel confident in saying: it’s pretty good.

Benjamin Linus as The Joker? Count me in! TV Guide has revealed that Michael Emerson, currently starring in "Person Of Interest," has been tapped to provide the voice of the Clown Prince Of Crime in "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2." Emerson will be squaring off against Peter Weller's Batman in the animated movie, which is scheduled to hit DVD & On-Demand in early 2013.

You might know high-end doll action-figure company Hot Toys from their hyper-realistic 1/6 scale "replicas" of such icons as the Christopher Reeve version of Superman. Well, the new "Dark Knight" Joker they've been teasing on their Facebook page as of late might blow all previous figures out of the water. Owning one of these babies will probably feel like having the Clown Prince Of Crime right in the room with you (pleasant dreams!):
