All those translation errors are indeed funny, but what's wrong with ''the messiah of Earth"? I mean, apart from the simple fact that it might have no sense whatsoever, is there a clear semantic or grammatical error?
@Muzzer27 It was funny because they were shooting for 'hero' and didn't realise Messiah means a totally different thing. Like... a Jesus thing.

... I think "Fail" has been around a little longer than video games. Yeah, I know, but I think its popularity is due mostly in part by people using it completely separate from being a gaming meme.

1 Like @thefrank86 You are right, she was just referring to it as a gaming meme though. The word itself has been around for a long time, just not as a meme like it is now.
"I am Error" is also referenced in Metal Gear Solid 2, when the GW projection of Campbell starts to malfunction. I think it was also sort of a throwback to "I feel asleep" and "the truck have started to move!" from the NES Metal Gear. Could the malfunctioning Patriots AI posing as Big Boss have been responsible for sending Snake against Big Boss during the Outer Heaven mission of 1989?

2 Like Way too many people say "fail" or use "fail" to often, I'm under the impression that out of all little quips and sayings in history, "fail" lost it's funny factor the quickest.
Why are you milking old gaming memes? Please stop that irritating head tilt. How do these videos justify a paycheck?

2 Like You need to do a video all about MMO vernacular. Hopefully you might inject a little criticism into it when people use somewhat pointless and annoying terms such as 'moar' instead of 'more'.

I remember Suikoden 2 had some typing errors or mistakes in grammar... Not sure.
@SsangyongKYRON I don't remember Suikoden 2 being that bad, Haven't played it in years. Great game though. I loved the first 2 and liked the 3rd one a lot.
@SsangyongKYRON I was referring to that bad as in grammar wise. I probably should have made that clearer. Loved the Suikoden series, My sister who has never been a gamer also played the heck out of that. I need to play the newer ones, just haven't gotten around to it.
