I have an idea for the hardest of the hardcore gamer, it's called"Stevie Wonder: The Adventure". No more fancy graphics here, its time to "get down" to business and experience your imagination blindfolded. What is it like to make dinner. Burns, cuts, and cursing your creator, are all factors in the adventure of a LIFETIME Time to take gaming to "higeher ground" as you navigate a keyboard only interface to learn how to dress yourself, find your keys, and tap, tap, tap, your way to the front door, all in glorious CGA (Braille interface DLC available launch day for 1.99). We promise THE most complex interface ever devised by man. Kick the noobs to the curb. This is HARD CORE. I hate you.

Johnny has been stalking the shadows to listen in to what you've been saying about the newly announced Thief. Not all of it was nice.
if u want to be a thief,,look at how they steal bananas in the wait and grab a banana line in the super-makret;p,,someone obviously took the greater ones of the bananas and apples,,what a shame,,but seriously thief 4 looks fanatastic;p,,and sounds;p
@gamespot2DBOne Dude! I can't make sense of your comment. Perhaps you should consider using standard punctuation
What is all this pointless jabber about a Dishonored Clone? Its Edios M! Therefore, a Medieval re-skin of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Noobs...
@Jennaralize @fourclawrider the female character is played by alison doody...........DOODY hardyharhar
@fourclawrider @Jennaralize One of the people who produces Hairy Bikers is called Amanda Fidler :-)
@XxWarLordxX502 Sir, Thief is THE stealthy game with a hooded guy. Dishonored borrowed heavily from the original Thief games.
I would send you an abusive 'tweet' but i'm not really down with all that modern technology nonsense, and I'd attempt to send a postcard but the RM would no doubt lose it..
Anyway.. yeah.. It's the latter! I don't have a problem with bows and arrows, more just the matter of every game seems to be including them nowadays and making a huge deal out of them (Crysis by far the biggest culprit). That said however I'll hold my hands up and admit I've never even played thief - wasn't aware the old titles had them in. I take it all back.
Oh, and picking up on my misspelling of 'fetish' hurt man.. I pride myself on speaking correctly with correct punctuation. Pretty much feel like one huge disappointment to my parents now.. The British education system has failed me :'(
@warhawk-geeby There's a British education system? Crap... when did that happen?! I think I missed out!
I for one am happy that there are bows, in games and out. If there weren't, I would not have been born... my family name means "bow maker"...!
Just be glad that they aren't putting magic wands into Call Of Duty and machine guns into Skyrim (wait... the latter might have been modded in...)...
@Jennaralize Yeah apparently it exists!! God knows where though.. Most likely that little place called London that gets allllll the attention!
Magic wands in Call of Duty would be great fun?! You could magic away all the campers cover :P An yeah, seeing as Master Chief is now in Skyrim i'd say anything was possible..
AWESOME surname, seriously. I mean it. I think people strive to have such meaningful family history! I looked mine up once when visiting a castle in Wales (Conway) and was told I have a very rich heritage, castles, manors and all sorts! Not that i've seen any of that passed down to my family though.. clearly got lost somewhere down the line, or stolen.. probably by bow-folk such as Robin Hood ;) haha.
@Jennaralize Psshhhh! If Yvette Fielding wasn't so obsessed with visiting castles i'd well look into buying one if I had the money.. I'd absolutely love to renovate one to how it once was with the original features, orrrr just go the complete opposite route and turn it into a paintballing location.. That'd be all kinds of sick.
Getting battered whilst making a last stand with a goth trinket (read that as flailing your arms about whilst shouting abuse down the mic) sounds highly entertaining. Or you could just use it as a melee weapon and poke people in the eyes... Bad ass mo fo.
@warhawk-geeby @Jennaralize My dad rented in a castle in Scotland (Kraufurdland) until a couple of years ago, when the Laird's son wanted to take over the B&B; business my dad's gf set up there. He lived in Stair House for a bit after that, which also has turrets. Personally, I think such lavish, arrogant, cold and draughty buildings are a waste of space and money, but each to their own! :-)
I sometimes wish that all games were limitless, especially those annoying ones where, for some reason, you can only climb onto or jump over certain objects, but others, like chairs and small walls, are impassable! Magic wands in COD though? Sheeeeeeeet son, that would be DOPE! Cept COD is vaguely based on real life, so the wand would actually be a cheap trinket from a goth store with absolutely no power and you would get completely battered.
I think you should change the intro to this show to a cracktro instead. that would be funny. All Hail The Cracktro! thank you G-spot.
Ahhhh, Feedbakula, the only mini-show that makes sense to my drowned, impish, drug damaged brain :-)
Then maybe you shoudnt be living here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I am excited to see the return of Garrett, is anyone else bothered by the fact that he looks like a damned ninja? Yes, ninjas are cool. However, a ninja Garrett was not.
@TheKokopelli He's a Thief which is the original Ninja, who are the original Special forces, which are the original answer too Terrorist threats ergo Garrett should fight Terrorists with high tech weapons.
<insert hateful reply here>
@OldKye @TheKokopelli Not hateful, but ninjas originated from rebelling farmers. Hence the use of farm equipment for a majority of the weaponry.
@OldKye The origin of the ninja practice is a mystery, but the popular theory is that it spawned from a necessity of farmers who rebelled and couldn't fight with success the same way the warriors did. You won't find theories of origin in the wiki page its too in depth, you could probably find it in a textbook somewhere. But any who, before ninjas were called ninjas and before it was practiced, it had to be formed from something to serve a purpose. That's the origin, not the early history after it was an established practice with written manuals.
A lot of factors play a role in weaponry, I don't care too much about that.
Ninja's purpose was to mainly "steal away" morale or life. I'm not saying that none of them stole, but that's not the focus of the title. The lords would use them as a tool to for victory. Thieves just steal all by their lone selves or on rare occasion save the town of Nottingham. So I just don't like the comparison.
@VeredusMaximus @OldKye You can even look on the wiki if you trust it.
%s lol
There have been countless cases of rebel farmers throughout japans history for many reasons.
Though Ninjas or shinobi which means "to steal away" or to hide were often recruited from farmers since it was a dishonorable position they weren't "rebel farmers" in much the same way the use of farm implements as weapons by Shinobi was for the sake of being able to say they were tools if searched not because they couldn't get swords.
Further more many were proponents of guns and other weapons that were quick and took little training to use a modern example would be Navy Seals not peasants.
@OldKye I'm talking about just the origins of the ninjas. The major supporting theory is the rebelling farmers.
@VeredusMaximus Actually the use of farming implements as weapons was wider spread as a result of sword hunts carried out when new rules came to power Toyotomi Hideyoshi being one of the most famous.
The "Real" ninjas where special forces but used almost none of the black outfits/weapons seen in modern interpretations. Ninjas mostly dressed as enemy soldiers(A very dishonorably thing to do much like the later use of guns) and spy'ed or create havoc and sabotage.
In a famous account of ninja activity they infiltrated a garrison marked to be attacked then proceeded to keep the soldiers awake for weeks on end with wasps and snakes put in their quarters at night. When the time came for the battle the garrison simple surrendered unable to put up a fight.
Okay Johnny, how about this for feedback. Feel free to take this comment and act it out in your sarcastic British nerd voice, because everyone finds it so darn hilarious.
This entire episode is you doing some pointless voice acting. I watched the whole thing, and now I feel like I just ate some Taco Bell.
What was the point of this video? Comedy? It barely made me smirk.
Readers, I urge you to go check out xRazorFistx aka rageaholic on youtube.
Here's his review of Dishonored: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krmPIA8peHg (much funnier, and actually has a point)
He blows this Johnny guy out of the water.
Goes to show ya how an indie endeavor is far more effective than some bloke that the Gamespot corporation decided to hire, who just happens to get far more exposure.
@supershaft777 Isn't this basically a US Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw? His review feels so been there done that, bought the t-shirt, washed it, put it back on... I mean really, it's EXACTLY the same style.
@supershaft777 Reminds me of an angry, fast talking, dennis miller, in a good way :P
@supershaft777 bowling shoe ugly graphics engine and slam his goofy, retractable, plastic sword into your epiglottis.. hobo Skeletor LMAO guess i'm not the only one who thought it was overrated.
@supershaft777 "Okay Johnny, how about this for feedback. Feel free to take this comment and act it out in your sarcastic British nerd voice, because everyone finds it so darn hilarious. "
ohh, someone's pissy XD
@supershaft777 sorry tried watching it but that really annoying fast talking totally arrogant american accent was too much for me. give me jonneh over that sh*t anytime
@Jasper_73 Agree, after about 5 whiny seconds it just sounded like "blahlahlahlahlah". Weirdly, his voice reminded me of Bob Geldof... I can't listen to Geldof for very long either, without wanting to shave between by thighs with a cheese grater...
Fair 'nuff. You go to a Justin Bieber concert and tell them that Justin Bieber sucks, you're bound to run into a fan that disagrees.
Thank you for announcing Thief 4 - I know about it here first.
Played the Thief series when I was younger. Now I'm an old fart whose life is threatened by a lack of fun.
