If you are relocating your business to the Island or starting a new business, grant support may be available.
The Department of Economic Development’s Financial Assistance Scheme is aimed at inward investment and corporate relocations in sectors such as manufacturing, e-business, e-Gaming, and Financial Services.
Grants are available for up to 40% in the following areas:
- Capital expenditure
- 1st year setup expenses such as marketing, equipment, key staff relocations and rent reduction, etc
Further claims can be made on an annual basis to help support continued growth and development.
Grants are discretionary and judged upon the following factors:
- Employment creation
- Exports generated
- Import substitution
- Wealth creation
- Overall benefit
