The Linux Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of LinuxCon Europe in 2011.  LinuxCon is already the premiere Linux conference in North America, South America and Asia, providing an unmatched collaboration and education space for all matters Linux, and we are pleased to be able to extend this event into Europe.

LinuxCon Europe will bring together the best and brightest that the Linux community has to offer, including community developers, system administrators, business executives and operations experts. Keynote Speakers

Antti Aumo, Vice President of Global Solutions at Ixonos will talk about redefining the cloud phone.	Tim Burke, Vice President of Linux Engineering Development at Red Hat, will share the perspective of a Linux distribution vendor in collaborative development.	Nils Brauckmann, President and General Manager of SUSE will participate on a panel with Andreas Pöschl of BMW on their adoption and implementation of Linux.	Wim Coekaerts, Senior Vice President Linux and Virtualization Engineering at Oracle, will provide an overview on building engineered systems with Linux.
Dirk Hohndel, Chief Linux and Open Source Technologist at Intel reflects on 20 years of Linux.	Andreas Pöschl of BMW will participate on a panel with Nils Brauckmann, President and General Manager of SUSE on BMW's adoption and implementation of Linux.	Linux Creator Linus Torvalds will participate on a panel of leading kernel developers to discuss Linux 3.0 and beyond.	Linux Foundation Executive Director Jim Zemlin discusses what the world would be like without Linux.
