Ubisoft’s Shootmania Storm is about to join the eSports arena alongside Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II and Riot Games’ League of Legends. The upcoming PC online multiplayer first-person shooter game will join the tournament line-up at IPL 5, the next major tournament event of the IGN Pro League (IPL), taking place November 29-December 2 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

For the first time ever, Nintendo fans won’t be getting a watered-down Call of Duty experience. Call of Duty: Black Ops II from Treyarch will feature the full HD experience. The game features the most advanced textures, lighting and shadowing systems in series history, all of which are on full display on Wii U. Utilizing Wii U’s second-screen experience with the Wii U GamePad, Black Ops II players can join the action in a full Call of Duty experience from the second-screen. Electronic Arts’ Danger Close Games is opening up its multiplayer beta worldwide for Medal of Honor Warfighter this October exclusively for Xbox 360 gamers. The beta will feature a brand new multiplayer mode called HotSpot, where players attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia. Inspired by real-life operations, players team-up in pairs using the game’s unique co-op Fireteam system for a competitive advantage on the battlefield. The Medal of Honor Warfighter multiplayer beta will be available for a limited time in early October.
