Gunslugs Updated With New Character, Chicken Gun
Orangepixel's Gunslugs is retro-inspired 2D shooting bliss, and the game just received a welcome kick in the pants courtesy of a free update that adds a bunch of content while squashing several bugs.
New additions include an Art School building, sixth music track and Marine Dock world to explore, and there's more, from new character Scarlett Sonya to a chicken gun that requires a high medal count to unlock; figures we have to work for it. As for bug stomping, Sly Rocko is easier to unlock, the tutorial doesn't cause issues in two-player mode and audio problems are a thing of the past.
Basically, if you have a thing for classic shooters, this homage to the 8-bit and 16-bit days belongs on your iOS device.
