+Keith Ainsley There is no such thing as a stupid person, only people you don't understand. By calling people stupid you only display your own lack of compassion and your willful ignorance of human nature. Calling people stupid is lazy.

How would you like to turn your computer into a Minority Report-style interface where you can control everything with the wave of your hands?

Leap Motion, the motion control hardware and software that takes the 8 cubic-feet of airspace in front of your computer and turns it into a motion-aware control center, will start shipping in May: http://on.mash.to/Xi3s7n

For designers (and the developers article linked within)... Ones mentioned that I use include Awesome Screenshot (sorta mentioned), measureIt, Colorzilla, and Web Developer. One tool I use not mentioned is IETab. Sadly, I still need to make sure my site works in IE :( ... Most developers I know love Firebug, but I'm perfectly happy with Chrome's built in debugger...

+Colin Irwin you're right for mobile. These apps are web apps, on web sites for desktops and laptops. For mobile, i agree, HTML5 usually works, but it would depend on the traffic coming to the sites, as that should determine what technology is being used.

+Donald Legion , 99.9999% of users have no clue what the term "Flash exploit" means, and if the flash is merely an animation, there is nothing to exploit. Also, i was only referring to it as a means of design, not functionality. I agree, it's stupid to code functionality into flash, but then again most functionality rarely requires animation that can't be done with a little javascript.

I hope that clarified my point to your satisfaction.
