He just said what I said about google going the apple way. But he sure puts it in a different way(is that a paid review? :-P or is he hoping with this he might get one of the free CPs google is giving out to developers :-P) Google wants to create a "new market". Hell yeah just like Apple created it with their Iphones. Charging unreasonably high for a product that had just one(or 2) features that other phones did not have(but will have in a few months).
I think it might be the touchscreen and the "slim factor" of the CP. They want developers to develop more apps. Yeah if someone is going to buy the CP it definitely has to be a "splurge" They sure won't mind paying for apps. Apple makes money on its apps. Because apple fanboys really don't care too much for money(too dumb to work out the maths I guess, or they would rather taken their iphones to MCDs and eat happy meals because junk food is the only thing they can afford to eat after buying the iphone and the apps :-P).
So google is hoping to cut into that market i guess or hoping that some of the google fanboys are that way too.
They could have just named this iChrome :-P
