How about putting people on the SUL just for their birthday who may not be well known but reach a certain level of social engagement or post interesting content.  Pick like 10 people a day or maybe use a friend driven voting app.  How cool would it be to wake up to five thousand new followers on your birthday?

We think this idea of Birthday SUL selection is one that can work
and would only make Google+ more active on the entirety. We believe in daily rotation of the entire list. Thanks +Robert Anderson.

Yea, they couldn't block steamy love scenes or 'coarse language', but they blocked Bugs for a while....... I wish they would have just changed the age rating instead or something. Let the parents decide.

The sad truth is that if you are not rich enough to buy your way through the legal system, then prosecutors see you as another statistic to bolster their win record. Bankers and celebs can get away with all kinds of stuff that the normal joe can't.  How might this case played out differently if it had been Zuckerberg or Gates rather than Aaron?

Letter from Banksy

People are taking the piss out of you everyday. They butt into your life, take a cheap shot at you and then disappear. They leer at you from tall buildings and make you feel small. They make flippant comments from buses that imply you’re not sexy enough and that all the fun is happening somewhere else. They are on TV making your girlfriend feel inadequate. They have access to the ...Expand this post »

What the RS saga tells you about Google Plus

In case you missed it, for the past three days, three hashtags have been at the top of the trending list on google plus. #olrs #rsol #riprs  I won’t go into detail about what these were about, it is enough to say that it was not the primary intention of the makers of the hashtags to effect the trending list.

In September 2012, Vic Gundotra announced that G...Expand this post »

Life is short. Don't be a dick.
Introduction

Polymath, entrepreneur, engineer, polyglot

I see past the horizon.

Maker, doer they say, I am The One.

I find, engage and build.

Writer, speaker, thinker, poet

I finish but I am never done.

Father, idiot, savant

Photographer, social hacker, dilettante

Innovatoreducator, creator

Firefighter, Combat Medic, Linguist, Satellite Network and Payload Controller, Horse Hand, Sailor, Lover, Fighter, Engineer, Traveling Man.

Wars Fought, Tigers Tamed, Bars Emptied, Spiders Slain, Governments Overthrown, Uprising Quelled, BBQ Smoked.

I know how to to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, fly a plane, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, muck a stall, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

Jack of all trades, master of none

Though often better than a master of one.
