Lamar had been on the road – he had a game in New York – so I was going to fly there the day after Valentine's Day and he was going to meet me. When I checked into our hotel room – we got married on the 27th and we met on the 27th – there were 27 dozen roses in vases all over. 27 dozen! All over the room! He wasn't even there in that city, he was still in New York, so I was like: What is going on? I had never had that happen before. So I called him: I can't believe you did this! So that made it memorable and it was our first project we ever did together the next day. It was just so beautiful and thoughtful to say the least. less
