Bryan Adams (Getty)We’re betting Bryan Adams is singing his famous lyrics, “Baby you’re all that I need,” right about now.
The “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” singer, 53, and Alicia Grimaldi welcomed their second baby girl, Lula Rosylea, in London earlier this week. Little Lula joins her big sister, Bunny, 22 months.
Not surprisingly, Lula’s cool moniker is partially inspired by music.
“Lula Rosylea decided to arrive at tea time,” Adams posted on his Twitter account. “Rosylea is cockney rhyming slang in London for ‘cup of tea’ and the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent‘s song ‘Be-Bop-A-Lula.’” Later, he posted a second tweet. “Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Baby and mama are doing well.
Grimaldi, who helped Adams co-found The Bryan Adams Foundation, which supports educational advancement and learning opportunities for youth around the world, remains quiet about her romance with the Grammy award winner.
The rocker, who’ll be taking a short break for his would tour in February, will head back on the road in March, hitting stops throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
It sounds like Adams’ two little ladies are going to have plenty of stamps in their passports soon.
