Codemasters has released a new trailer for GRID 2, a racing game apparently designed to render next generation games and consoles obsolete before they've even been announced. Which is to say, this is a very pretty game.
In the process, the developer has also reminded me of the gaping racing-expertise-shaped vacuum left by former OXM deputy editor Mike Channell - a man we could always count on to yodel and bleed from the ears in the presence of an exotic hubcap. Were Mike here, he would doubtless have many exciting insights to offer about GRID 2. But he's not, and the best I can do is "yep, those are most certainly cars".
You may wish to refer to our original Race Driver: GRID 2 preview. Mike wrote it. According to him, "the game's not even out yet and this already feels like a victory lap."

nice variety of tracks and also cars, from classics, to modern, to supercar.
i had great fun with the first, pure arcade thrills, cant glean much from a cgi trailer (unless of course its ingame lol) but its looking impresive
