There are two categories of membership at CAMC: Corporate and Individual. Corporate Membership A Corporate Membership demonstrates an organization’s commitment to CAMC’s mandate of maintaining and further developing National Occupational Standards, curricula, accreditation and training programs.
There are two types of Corporate Membership: Corporate Associate and Corporate. While the benefits and services offered to both types of corporate members are essentially the same, the primary difference is that Corporate Associate members do not employ aviation or aerospace technicians. CAMC is the only nationally recognized occupation-certifying organization representing the aviation maintenance and aerospace manufacturing industry.
Corporate Membership Benefits Individual Membership An Individual Membership establishes members in a professionally accredited and nationally recognized organization, which has the only credentialing system for skilled aviation and aerospace workers in Canada. Having CAMC certification is a proven benchmark of quality because its standards demand the highest degree of professional competence and capability in the industry. In addition, CAMC encourages these members to participate in advisory committees and recognizes the value of each individual’s contributions and opinions. There are two types of Individual Membership: Associate and Certified. All new members are classified as Associate until they successfully complete logbook and experience requirements and become certified members. The only exception is that a licensed AME who becomes a CAMC member is classified as Certified immediately.
